Logbook Servicing

Here at Automen Automotive Service Centre, we are fully certified to provide logbook services for all:

Safety Checks & Inspections
Registration Safety checks (Pink slips) are legally required for re-registration of all vehicles, motorcycles, trailers and light trucks.
A Pink Slip is issued by a Roads and Maritime Services Accredited Inspector after the vehicle is inspected and passes all requirements as set out by the RMS and is deemed safe.
Automen Automotive Service centre is fully accredited to provide pink slips to all cars, trailers, motorcycles and light trucks under 4.5 tonne, including LPG powered vehicles, so if you need a safety check, contact us today!

Brake Services
Well maintained brakes are the most important safety feature your vehicle can have. While other safety systems like SRS airbags reduce the severity of an accident, your brakes are preventative, and can be the difference between an accident and an emergency stop.
Due to the stop-start nature of modern driving, your brakes suffer a surprising amount of wear, and if you’ve noticed sponginess when braking, we highly recommend you have your brakes checked.
Here at Automen Automotive Service Centre we can provide a complete and comprehensive brake service, so if you haven’t had your brakes checked in a while, talk to us today!

Steering & Suspension
Flaws in your vehicle’s steering and suspension dramatically affect both control and comfort, causing play in the steering wheel and body lean through corners. Your suspension is also responsible for maximising the grip that your tyres exert on the road, and can substantially increase stopping distance.
We provide extensive repairs for your steering and suspension at Automen Automotive Service Centre, including:
- Coils, shocks, struts, and leaf springs
- Power steering
- Bushing replacements
If you brace for speedbumps, get in touch today!

Clutch & Transmission
Responsible for transferring power from the engine to the wheels, the drivetrain is comprised of some of the most sophisticated and complex pieces of machinery in your vehicle. Due to its intricate nature, any faults or flaws in this machinery can quickly escalate into some of the most damaging and expensive repairs.
If you have noticed a clicking noise when turning, grinding noises when changing gear, or a burning smell coming from under the bonnet or leaking oil, you may have an issue with your vehicle’s drivetrain.
Automen Automotive can help you with:
- Clutch repairs
- Automatic and manual gearbox repairs
- Differential repairs
If you’ve noticed any of the warning signs mentioned above, contact us today!

Diagnostics
When your dash shows the check engine light, that means your vehicle’s onboard computer is alerting you that it has detected a problem somewhere in the vehicle. With the increasing complexity of auto electrical systems, more and more of your vehicle’s systems are being monitored and managed by the computer.
Contact Automen Automotive Service Center and we can arrange to check your vehicle with the latest and up-to-date Scan tool to diagnose the problem.
We’re always happy to help, so if you need diagnostics, talk to us today!

Tyres and Wheels
Responsible for providing traction, your tyres are designed to provide you with as much grip as possible, especially during wet weather, when the treads of the tyre act as channels to divert the water away from the tyre’s surface. Misaligned wheels create uneven tyre wear, or in other words, tyre wear that the designers could not account for. This can lead to greatly reduced traction, which reduces control and increases stopping distance.
Here at Automen Automotive Service Centre, we can provide:
- Major tyre brands for all makes and models
- Wheel alignments
- Tyre fitting and balancing
If your tyres are looking a bit bald, then contact us today!
